The process

How the sausage is made

Great visuals don't happen by accident. They are the result of a clear process—one that balances creativity with structure, exploration with precision.
This is how I transform complex ideas into compelling illustrations and animations.

Stage 1:

Discovery & Research
Every project begins with understanding.
I start by learning about your goals, your audience, and the story you want to tell.

This is where we align on vision, explore references, and define the scope of the work.

What this stage includes:
• Initial consultation
• Briefing and goal-setting
• Understanding of content
• Reference gathering

Stage 2:

Concept & Sketching
The brief in this example is “The Digital Impersonator”.
This project explores the modern crisis of digital identity fraud. In a world where deep-fakes, AI chatbots, and algorithmic avatars are indistinguishable from real humans, our trust in visual and textual media is eroding. This visual acts as the central "warning badge"—a symbol of the hybrid threat.

With a clear direction in place, I begin exploring ideas on my digital canvas—working through compositions, character poses, and visual metaphors. This is the messy, playful stage where ideas take their first form.

Stage 3:

Refinement & Approval
Once a direction is chosen, I refine the concept into a polished sketch or style frame. This is the stage where we collaborate closely to make sure every detail is right before moving into final production.
Refined sketches or style frames
Color palette exploration
Client feedback and revisions
Final approval before production

Stage 4:

Animation
With the concept approved, I bring it to life—whether through vector illustration, editorial artwork, or motion design. This is where the vision becomes real, layer by layer, frame by frame.

Stage 5:

Delivery & Collaboration
The final artwork is delivered in the formats you need—ready for print, web, or presentation. But my work doesn't end at delivery. I'm always available for follow-ups, refinements, or future collaborations.

That is my process in a nutshell.
Every project is different, but my commitment to clarity, collaboration, and quality never wavers.

If you have a story to tell—or an idea that needs visual  form—I would love to hear about it.
